Well back to a normal working week after a lovely outdoor filled long holiday weekend. It has been a pleasant and enjoyable weekend all round.

As a family we had a road trip into Somerset, England on Saturday enjoying the scenery and the sunshine. With fresh air walking around local beauty spots you really get a feel for how we should enjoy the outdoors more.

Here is part 2…

“Nothing is certain in this world except death, taxes and bad management.”

At Enigin we train Enigin Distributors to build a successful energy saving business, much of the training touches on managing your business and team, but still bad management can raise its head. Bnet.com touched on these a while ago and I would like to share these with you.

“Nothing is certain in this world except death, taxes and bad management.”

But why?

Why does bad management remain so pervasive, even after decades of MBA courses, millions of management books, and billions spent on management training?

At Enigin we train Enigin Distributors to build a successful energy saving business, much of the training touches on managing your business and team, but still bad management can raise its head. Bnet.com touched on these a while ago and I would like to share these with you.

Enigin - This little piggy went to market…

posted by enigin in Uncategorized

Having the privilege to deal one to one with business men and women who strive to set-up and maintain a successful energy saving business with Enigin, it’s interesting to see what each individual places top of the list of priorities.

In some rare cases, potential business owners have put high importance on training or skills. But, as any successful entrepreneur will tell you, marketing is the number one priority in your business. And why wouldn’t it be? It is a fundamental building block in building a successful business. How are people going to buy without first being informed of your products? How are people going to be informed of your products without advertising?

Enigin - more days like this please

posted by enigin in General

It truly is beautiful outside. Here in the southwest of England we are in an amazing part of the world. Bearing in mind it really makes a difference depending on the weather. On a miserable, rainy, dull day, the view is not so pleasant to look at. But a weekend like we have just had - makes you really appreciate the area.

We have the river Tamar right here, the other day driving over the Tamar Bridge, the view was gorgeous. Sun shining, water glistening, boats in the river. It really made you appreciate, well, life.

Splish splash splosh

By Madeleine Whittaker

My 15 month old son absolutely loves the story “We’re going on a bear hunt!”. Since he was a tiny baby his granddad has read and acted out the story to him and it truly has become his favourite.

If he finds the book on a shelf he will sit and “act” it out himself, reading it (in his own way) to himself. Making hand gestures for “we can’t go over it, we can’t go under it” etc. It has been a great story for him fall in love with, because it is so easy to follow and remember.

About Us

On the Recruitment side of things, I liaise with potential Enigin Distributors who show keen interest in representing Enigin PLC in their own country and put them in contact with one of our more experienced Business Managers. I go as far as inviting them to an Open Day here at Enigin head office and Ben or Tim will take over from there. Once we recognize they have the right qualities, we train them and support them in starting their own adventure in the Energy saving business.
